Finished sixth when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Healesville then improved and scored over 1m at Woolamai two weeks ago, getting home by 0. 8 lengths. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. FAIRNESS IS BEST (1) hit the frame two starts ago at Tumut but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 9 lengths over 1m at Tumut. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. SMART ASSET (5) was safely held when 12th last time out over 7f at Holbrook, beaten 18 lengths, after a win at Tumbarumba at the previous outing. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
