CRUISE TO RIO (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing fourth and only a nose from the winner at the end of 7½f. Will enjoy a drop in class so she is likely to play a big role. REGGIO CALABRIA (2) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at this track over 5½f, beaten 0. 9 lengths. Is going okay this campaign, recording two wins and three minor placings from 10 starts. Should be hard to stop. O'SO DEMANDING (7) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 12 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when eighth over 7f at Bunbury, beaten 5 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. NICCY'S AFFAIR (10) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on January 4, finishing tenth and beaten 7 lengths over 1m at this track. Worth plenty of thought.
