ROYAL ACCOLADE (7) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a third over 5½f at Esperance. Likely improver with strong prospects. SHOOTING SPIRIT (9) is returning from a lay-off of 11 weeks. Finished 11th at Ascot over 6f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Alan Smith. Has ability and makes plenty of appeal. HEAD'EM (6) dropped out from the rails draw before closing late to finish fourth over 6f32yards at this track last start. Can figure in the finish.
