TRUE PLAYER (5) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner as favourite last start over 1m3f at Ascot. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. ROCKING SOCIETY (2) did a good job last time, finishing in the money when third over 1m3 1/2f in the LR Pinjarra Cup. Brayden Gaerth stays on and although yet to win has been in the money on five occasions. Should be in the finish. DEADLY AND FAST (7) is in top form, most recently recording a win by a neck over 1m2 1/2f at this track to make it two on the bounce. Has a strong association with Lisa Staples who has been in the saddle for his last two wins. One of the contenders. DENNIS CHOUX (8) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m3f at Ascot, beaten 3 lengths into fourth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
