FAIRNESS IS BEST (2) turned in a strong performance when resuming when in the money at Berrigan but disappointed last time when eighth, beaten 8 lengths, at Tatura over 7¼f. Has the talent to put the recent run behind him. MALLEE MAID (5) was below her best last time, finishing ninth and beaten 8 lengths over 1m at Terang. Best figures measure up nicely. Solid top-three prospects.
