GUNNER BAY (2) was well fancied last time but found one better at this track (Dirt), finishing 1. 5 lengths adrift at the end of 6f. Looks well placed stepping out in trip. Should be in the finish again. BOURBON CHASE (1) is back after a break of a year. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 7f at Saratoga. Rates highly and should take some beating. ANTONIO OF VENICE (3) comes here off a break of seven months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at this track. One to consider. ASLEEP AT EIGHT (5) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last time over 6½f at this track (Dirt) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten a neck. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race.
