INTENTIOUS (3) ran a bold race over this journey last start, racing on the pace and sticking on strongly to finish 3 lengths away in third at this track (Dirt). Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. KADENA (4) was in a different class last time, registering a dominant 2 lengths win over 6f at this track (Dirt) to make it three in a row. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Capable of testing this field. PAULA'S A STAR (2) is back from a seven months lay-off and she does run well when resuming, including a win over 6½f at this track at the start of last prep. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
