BIG JACK (1) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at Sweetwater County Fair (Dirt) with success as favourite over 7f at this track (Dirt) two weeks ago, getting home by 3 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to feature in the finish again. SUBSIDIZE (5) turned in a decent effort last start when he did his best work late to finish third over 7f at this track after being prominent at the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run. HOLDEN THE LUTE (2) turned things around last start and landed the prize by 4 lengths over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Solid top-three prospects.
