WEST STAR (3) is a promising gelding yet to miss the frame after five starts, including three wins. Is at the races for the first time since he got the prize over 6f at this track on October 26. Will find this much easier. Sure to run well. NORICH (1) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 5½f at Albany. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is sure to be right there at the finish. CESSATION (4) displayed plenty of early toe over 6f at this track last time and dug deep to score by 2 lengths. In a suitable race and can figure in the finish. PETULA (2) was well-fancied when resuming last start but could only manage seventh, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 5f at this track. Has a decent second up record. Should be much improved.
