Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Lark Hill trial. Well placed and happy to have her on top. JUST WALTER JOHN (1) is resuming from a lay-off of five months and having his first run for the Mitchell Pateman yard. Was in the placings when when resuming from a lay-off last campaign at Northam over 5½f. Will be fit enough for this following a recent trial win. Expect him to pose a serious challenge. DUST ASIDE (3) is yet to break through in three runs. Finished eighth after being in contention on the corner at his last appearance over 5f at this track on January 1. Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes. WRITTEN WORDS (2) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish sixth, beaten 3. 5 lengths, when returning after a lay-off last start over 6f at Geraldton. Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
