LUANA MISS (9) is a handy type who resumes after a break of four-and-a-half months. At her last appearance she finished seventh over 6f in the G1 Winterbottom Stakes at this track, beaten 2. 25 lengths. Looks to be back in good order following a recent trial placing. Has a strong record when resuming, including two wins. Settles back early but winds up late. One to consider. WEST STAR (4) last appeared when he finished ninth over 7f in the G3 Moonga Stakes at Caulfield on October 18. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
