SNOW GOD (1) lifted strongly but just failed to pick up the winner as favourite last start over 6f at Belmont Park. Will derive great benefit from recent racing. Nicely placed to play a major role. INTOXICATING (11) returns after a lay-off of five months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5½f at Northam. Looks a strong top-three prospect. DAYTONA PETE (2) resumed last start over 5½f at this track and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish third, beaten 0. 7 lengths. Will be tough to stop again.
