RUBIQUITY (2) wound up strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 6f at Edenhope. Placed to advantage and can run another bold race. KNOCK OF BEERS (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2. 25 lengths when sixth over 1m1/2f at Geelong two weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. PORT LOUIS (1) is nearing a win, the latest effort a close second over 7f at Terang. In-form seven-year-old gelding so a forward showing is expected.
