UPON TWEED (1) bids for a hat-trick in as many career outings. Was a dominant 8. 5L winner of a Newcastle jumpers flat race before winning by the same margin a course and distance novice hurdle. Leading contender. TAKENASRED (10) made a good start to hurdling when second in a Down Royal maiden hurdle on most recent appearance after failing to place in jumpers flat races. May go one better. STEDE BONNET (9) failed to land three-in-a-row finishing sixth on hurdle debut at Galway during August. Interesting following a break. BALLYEDWARD (2) is not discounted delivering initial hurdle outing after placing third at Down Royal last month.
