Did improve running 5. 5L fourth in a maiden hurdle tackling 2m1/2f at Punchestown after being pulled up fresh at Cork. Finds a suitable race and may bounce back in view of stable record at this venue. MARVEL MAGIC (3) was favourite on debut tackling the flat at Newcastle AW finishing fourth over 2m1f. Might feature now switching to jumping. CAPTAIN CONNOR (1) pushed forward as a newcomer and stayed on running 8L third in a flat race attempting 2m at Huntingdon. Impossible to discount.
