PEACEFUL RULER (4) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 6½f at Northam four-and-a-half months ago and has not appeared since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Lark Hill trial win. Looks promising and can measure up again. DARK AMBITION (6) resumes from a lay-off of six months. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 7f at this track. Has trialled well leading into this. Ready to find winning form. MEDIA MOGUL (2) recorded his first win last start over 6f at Pinjarra Scarpside, getting home by 1. 5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Holly Nottle was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders. MUST BE NICE (3) resumed three-and-a-half weeks ago over 5½f at Geraldton and was only beaten half a length into fourth. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
