EXCENIA (4) faced the starter for the first time and finished sixth last start in the LR Festival of Racing Stakes at Flemington over 5f, beaten 4 lengths. Will have a lot more to offer this time. MOON GODDESS (9) tackled the Cinderella Stakes over 5¼f at Morphettville last time out when fresh from a lay-off and was beaten 4 lengths into sixth by Gin Spirit. Well placed and expected to feature. IMMERSE (5) finished seventh on debut two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5½f at Ballarat, beaten 1.1 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Will enjoy a drop in class so she is one of the main contenders. MARELLITY (8) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 6 lengths from the winner in fourth at this track over 5f. Nicely placed and deserves respect.
