FROSTY BEAR (1) was always forward and boxed on to finish third over 5f98yards at this track last time. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Sure to be in the finish. TAKE THE LEAD (5) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Moranbah over 7¾f. Should be handy in the run. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. HEAT (2) ran below expectations last time at Gympie, finishing fifth and beaten 4. 5 lengths starting at 9/1. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. HURRICANE HALL (4) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Toowoomba, beaten 7 lengths into tenth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
