GEM OF SCOTS (3) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 2 lengths, over 4¾f at this track after she settled well back. First try at the trip but she strips fitter and is expected to run well. ASPEN COWBOY (2) was too good for a maiden field when resuming last start over 5f at Atherton, scoring by a long neck. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade. DESARAE DOLL (4) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on two consecutive occasions, before finishing fifth last time out over 4¾f at this track. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Can feature in the finish.
