Well placed and should be in the finish. CHARTWELL (6) returned from a break last start with a less than impressive 12th over 5f at Townsville after giving away a big start. Nicely placed to take this out. DESERT GRIT (9) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by a nose over 6f at Atherton. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. MANHATTAN'S (8) is returning from a lay-off of ten weeks. Finished eighth at Ipswich over 6f at the first run last prep.
