PROPHET'S PROMISE (3) is yet to break through after four career starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at this track two starts back before finishing fifth over 1m at this track last start. Big chance to break through. COMMON GOAL (1) made a strong late bid only to just miss when fresh from a lay-off last start over 6f at Nowra. Will take a lot from that hitout. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. WOLF ISLAND (9) finished second last time over 6½f at Goulburn, beaten a head. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. SHERIFF'S STAR (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Nowra, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
