Race Analysis
ALAMAGAN (2) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 1. 2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. ZOUSTRONG (1) drifted back when fresh from a lay-off last start and finished 2. 25 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6f at Kembla Grange. Ideally placed to get off the mark. FIRE 'N' STONE (11) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 5f at Hawkesbury in a tougher race. Tricky draw to overcome but she can feature again. ALABAMA HUSSY (6) finished 8 lengths away in fourth at her last appearance over 6¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle) on December 13 after she got a long way back in the run. Well placed on this occasion and is a likely improver.
