Has the ability to put the recent run of form behind him. SMOLENSKI (13) is back after a break of three months. At the last run before the layoff he finished tenth over 7f at Gundagai. Nicely placed and expected to go well. STORMY WOO (12) was in the money two starts back at Goulburn but couldn't back it up last time when sixth, beaten 4 lengths, at this track over 5f. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SLAY QUEEN (9) is a four-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Tash Burleigh stable. Finished off last campaign with a fourth at Orange 16 months ago. Will strip fitter for a trial win and is in a nice race. Not to be underestimated.
