POWER OF THE BRAVE (1) hit the frame two starts ago at Randwick but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 1. 5 lengths over 5½f at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. ZARAGOZA (5) started at 7/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 7 lengths at Kembla Grange over 5f. Keagan Latham gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. This is a nice drop in grade so he will be hard to beat. SHELSTEIN (7) booted up from the inside draw to sit on the speed last start then stuck on well to finish 2 lengths away in third over 6f at Eagle Farm. This is a nice race and can find winning form. COLUMBIA BLUE (8) was well supported when resuming last time out over 5½f at Wyong and proved too strong, scoring by half a length.
