    ZULFIQAR (4) finished fifth two runs back at Randwick Kensington then improved last time out to score by 2. 25 lengths after being prominent at the turn over 6f at this track. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is a big chance to go back-to-back. OAKFIELD DUKE (6) made a strong late bid but just failed to pick up the winner when when resuming last start over 5¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle). Will take a lot from that hitout. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. CASSIEL (5) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when ninth, beaten 2. 75 lengths, over 5½f at this track after he was prominent at the corner. Will strip fitter and can find peak form this time. FANGELA (7) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 3 lengths into tenth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
