EVERAIN (4) was well supported when resuming last time out over 7f at Caulfield and proved too strong, scoring by one length. MOMETZ (6) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by a long neck over 1m at Pakenham. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins from five runs. Big chance once again. RESET THE JAZZ (1) has been freshened up since finishing seventh over 1m at Flemington. Kept up to the mark with a recent Pakenham trial placing. Rates highly and is one of the leading contenders. LARIO (9) proved too strong two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when sixth over 7f152yards at Geelong, beaten 3 lengths. One of the main hopes.
