ASHFORD STREET (1) dug deep to win by half a length two runs back in the LR Christmas Stakes at Caulfield Heath then finished tenth over 5½f in the G1 Oakleigh Plate at this track last time. Will find this easier. Should be poised just off the lead. Sure to be in the finish. NICOLINI VITO (3) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 6f at Mornington. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. REGAL ZEUS (4) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second when resuming last time out over 6f in the LR Abell Stakes at Moonee Valley. Should go forward from the awkward gate. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. BOSSY NIC (10) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish second, beaten 1.75 lengths, over 5f at Flemington. Well placed and is among the chances.
