GOLDEN PATH (2) resumed over 1m at Flemington where he showed little early speed but got home nicely to finish sixth, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Suited here and expected to prove tough to stop. ON DISPLAY (6) drew wide and ran poorly last start when beaten 3 lengths into fifth at this course and distance. Fared better at the stall draw this time. Back a level after tackling a tougher race last time. Major player. TAKEN (12) made a strong late bid but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1m at Flemington. Going up a level this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. AL DUCA (8) showed early speed from an outside draw last time to lead throughout and score by a long neck over 1m at Flemington. Stiffer assignment here but must be respected.
