EFFERVESCENT (4) is a five-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Anthony Farrior stable. Finished off last campaign with a seventh at Gulfstream Park (Turf) nine months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but looks well placed. Can return in winning form. CAIRNHILL (3) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when sixth in a 5f contest at Colonial Downs eight weeks ago after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. CRUZIN VAN NUYS (8) failed to make an impression last time out, settling well back and finishing sixth over 4½f at this track (Dirt). Looks well placed and a bold showing is expected. APOCALYPTIC (2) is finding the breakthrough elusive, beaten 10 lengths into fifth at her latest appearance over 4½f at this track (Dirt). Can feature in the finish.
