SARONIC BAY (3) resumed last start over 7f at this track (Dirt) and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish third, beaten 2. 75 lengths. Should run on into the finish again. MOON ROX (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0. 3 lengths over 4½f at this track (Dirt) when she made late ground. Nicely placed to take this out. TOWN TOPIC (2) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at this track. Less impressive last time out when fifth over 7f at this track, beaten 15 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to make amends. HOUSE ALERT (4) was well beaten and faded right out of it last time at this track (Dirt) but gets some weight relief. Has a decent record at this trip with six minor placings from seven tries and is a key contender.
