Good record at this journey with three wins and six minor placings from 11 starts and is a key runner. ABSOLUTE GRIT (12) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Mahoning Valley (Dirt) over 5½f. Expected to cross from wide out. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. TOUR GUIDE (1) improved sharply last time out to score by a nose over 7f at this track (Dirt) a month ago. Likely to be there at the finish again.
