GOLDFIRE (1) finished third at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt), finishing 34 lengths back in ninth. Likely improver with strong prospects. VEHEMENTLY (2) failed to threaten when fresh from a lay-off last time out, beaten 19 lengths into eighth over 7f at this track (Dirt). Best form augers well for this. BLESSEDNOTLUCKY (5) returns from a layoff of four months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5½f at Thistledown. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Among the better hopes.
