FUNGO FUNGO (4) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 14 lengths into fifth over 4½f at this track. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. ESTRELLA FUGAZ (1) missed the placings two runs back then got a long way back last start when 9 lengths away in seventh over 4½f at this track. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. CEDAR RUNS FIBER (2) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at this track (Dirt) over 7f after being in the firing line on the turn. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish.
