Sure to be in the finish. GERLIN'S EMPIRE (1) tackled the Dogwood Stakes over 7f at this track last time out when fresh from a lay-off and was beaten 7 lengths into sixth by Ragtime. Should camp just off the leaders. Best form puts her right in this. RELIABLE LADY (7) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 6½f at Gulfstream Park (Dirt) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is good enough to make a big impact. GRIDLOCK (4) finished third last time over 6½f at Gulfstream Park (Dirt), beaten 5 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is capable of a big performance.
