Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. IL CAVALLINO (7) was prominent at the turn and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 7f at Keeneland after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ANOTHER MONARCH (2) last appeared when fifth over 6½f at Santa Anita (Dirt) three-and-a-half months ago at the only appearance of that campaign. Worth plenty of thought. MCILROY (3) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 6½f at Turfway Park (Synthetic), finishing third and beaten 1. 75 lengths. Sure to be thereabouts.
