SHISOSPICY (6) is a talented galloper with a very good strike rate who finished off last campaign with a win over 5f in the G1 Breeders Cup Turf Sprint at Del Mar Turf (Turf) on November 1. Has a great record when fresh from a lay-off with three wins from three runs so she is sure to prove tough to beat. QUEEN MAXIMA (5) found a couple better when resuming last start in the G3 Monrovia Stakes at Santa Anita Turf (Turf) over 6½f after she was in contention on the bend. Has a very good record over this journey with three wins from five starts. Goes up a notch this time but she is a leading contender. HAULIN ICE (7) was quickly into stride over 6f in stakes class at Oaklawn Park (Dirt) last time and went on to score by 1. 75 lengths. Going up a level this time but she is good enough to play a major role. MOON SPUN (8) missed the frame last time when eighth at Listed level at Gulfstream Park All Weather (Synthetic). That followed a run of four wins on end. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Must be respected.
