LAKEHURST (1) resumed with a 3. 5 lengths fifth two start back on a turf track at Balaklava over 5¼f. Improved sharply on the run next time though with a win on the dirt at Broken Hill over 5f a week ago. Looks tough to beat back on the turf. EMMOOKI MAGIC (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5¼f at Oakbank, beaten 6 lengths into fifth. Tackling a more suitable race this time so she is likely to play a big role. LIGHTLY SPARKLED (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when ninth in a 5½f contest at Strathalbyn a week-and-a-half ago. This doesn't look as hard so she is a major player. PRINCE KURO (5) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing eighth over 5½f at Oakbank. Has the pace to settle in the leading division.
