    MR MARKLE (3) drifted well back then came with a powerful run to finish 1. 75 lengths from the winner in third when resuming last start over 5f at Tatura. A repeat of the latest effort will see him in the finish again. HI TIAGO (5) strode forward early from her wide draw over 6f at Yarra Valley last time, leading for much of the way before fading to finish fifth. Expected to go close. THE MOUNT (4) knuckled down strongly to get within 1. 5 lengths of the winner in third last start over 5½f at Werribee when resuming after a break. Will Gordon sticks. Fitter and expected to run well. JUDGE KELLIE (7) won at Swan Hill two starts ago but was below her best at a more recent appearance, finishing eighth over 5¾f at Nhill. Well placed to turn things around.
