    LA PLAGE (7) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 3.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 7¼f at Tatura after being prominent at the turn. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is one of the key runners. STAR EMPIRE (4) lines up on the back of a 3 length fourth over 1m1f at Gundagai. Race sets up well for him. TOO BIG (5) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race last time out over 1m at Seymour, finishing third and beaten 2.25 lengths when he worked home well. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. DUSTY'S DEEL (1) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 4 lengths into fourth over 1m at Warracknabeal. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
