SPOKEN HEIRESS (5) was ridden quietly then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 3.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 6f at Pakenham when resuming from a lay-off. Steps up in distance. Backmarker who gets home hard. Should be competitive. SHEZATEMPEST (6) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing ninth at Pakenham over 1m. Placed to advantage and can make amends.
