CINTURATO (1) is back after a break of five months. At the last run before the layoff he finished sixth over 7f in the G3 Caulfield Guineas Prelude. Has trialled well leading into this. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. IRREVERENT (5) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside. This looks a sterner test than last time but she is one of the chief contenders. COSTA PAROS (2) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 7½f at this track, beaten only a neck after being in the firing line on the bend. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. PLATINUM RUSH (7) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Pakenham, beaten 3. 5 lengths into fifth. Meeting a deeper field this time but she deserves another chance.
