GIVE ME SPACE (4) resumes from a lay-off of ten months and is having his first outing under new trainer Ben, Will & Jd Hayes. Finished seventh in the LR Daybreak Lover Plate at Eagle Farm over 7f at the opening run last time in work. Will be forward for this after a recent trial win at Flemington. One of the genuine hopes in the race. SOFT LOVE (6) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 5½f at Caulfield. Has recorded two wins when when resuming from a break. Makes plenty of appeal. CORNICHE (2) lines up for the first time since September 13. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 5½f at Rosehill. Now under the care of new trainer Shawn Mathrick. One to consider.
