FITZROY BOY (2) missed the placings when resuming recently but was not too far from the winner when fourth over 5f at Goondiwindi. Should be poised just off the lead. Likely to feature. XUANFENG (11) showed good early dash when resuming last start and held on well to finish 1. 3 lengths back in second over 5½f at this track. Has the class to go one better. KOGA NINJA (9) is back at the races for the first time since October 18. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5f at Nanango. Comes here with definite top-three claims. BELISTIC MAN (7) has not won for a long while. Last raced on February 23 when beaten 23 lengths into 14th at Warwick over 6¾f. Likely improver who should be about the mark.
