KIPTANUI (6) didn't do a bad job when eighth last start over 7f at this track, beaten 2. 5 lengths after he made late ground. That followed a win at Taroom the start prior. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. GRINZINGER KNIGHT (2) returns from a lay-off of seven months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when eighth over 1m at Toowoomba. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Capable of testing this field. REJOICED (1) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at this track but couldn't back it up last start when seventh, beaten 4. 5 lengths, over 5f at Nanango. Has his share of ability and can do a lot better.
