MR MARRAKECH (1) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish a head back in third over 6f at this track. Nicely placed to go a couple better. PRINCE RUBAN (4) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when when resuming after a lay-off last start before fading to finish eighth, beaten 9 lengths, over 6f at Mornington. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. JULY (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 24 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 6f at this track. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. BEAU FACTOR (3) finished fifth last time out over 6f at this track, beaten 10 lengths. Hard to knock.
