DON'T GIVE UP (3) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when seventh over 7f at Hobart. Has further improvement to come and looks a clear threat. GEEGEE AUNTY JESS (7) was in the firing line on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1m1/4f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. KNIGHTS REIGN (8) finished third last start over 7½f at Ballarat Synthetic, beaten 4 lengths. Has the class to get the prize.
