VINO NOVELLO (2) found the line nicely to grab second last time out over 6¾f at this track. Can run over the top of them late. ELEGANTLY WRITTEN (4) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at Launceston over 1m, beaten 1. 3 lengths. Sound record at this distance with two wins and three minor placings from seven runs and is right in this. ROYAL DISPATCH (3) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when fifth in a 1m contest at Hobart a week-and-a-half ago. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. STONE COLD STUNNER (1) was in a different class last time, sitting just off the speed before letting down impressively for a 2 length win at this track over 6¾f. Can figure in the finish again.
