JOHN RAMBO (4) returns from a layoff of five months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6f at this track. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. MEAN APPROACH (12) started this prep with a win then couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 6f at Eagle Farm, beaten 0.8 lengths. Should be thereabouts.
