NAVYONTHEHIGHWAY (7) turned in a fair effort in the LR Gai Waterhouse Classic at Ipswich over 6f at her last run three-and-a-half months ago, finishing seventh and beaten 2.5 lengths. Has ability and should be right in the finish. EPIC PROPORTIONS (5) didn't do a bad job when sixth last start over 6f at Moonee Valley, beaten 2.2.5 lengths. That followed a win at Caulfield the start prior. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. BAND OF BROTHERS (14) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Matthew Dunn yard. Finished off last campaign with a 11th in the LR Moomba Plate at Flemington six months ago. Ran fourth in a trial at Doomben over 5f and looks nicely placed. Bold showing expected. SIMBU (13) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest offering a fourth, beaten one length, over 5f at Gold Coast. Will find this tougher but must be respected.
