BOOM SHOT (3) settled towards the back of the field last start and made little impact in the straight when 11th, beaten 5 lengths, over this journey at this track. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. SMART SHAZZA (12) built on a nice second two starts back at Sunshine Coast with a win as public elect over 7f at Sunshine Coast two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 2 lengths. Meets some better types this time but she has the ability to test this field. ALECTRONA (1) was well in the market again when second at Eagle Farm and starting to prove costly but does tend to run well here. Going well without winning so don't underestimate.
